A gunman is in custody after a deadly shooting at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.
Sources tell DailyMail.com that the shooter, Esteban Santiago, killed five people and injured six more Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 1pm in the baggage area of Terminal 2, and it does not appear that the shooter breached the TSA-secured area of the terminal.
While things calmed down at the airport around 1:30, it's unclear if the emergency is actually over yet since Terminal 1 was evacuated shortly before 2:30pm right after law enforcement officers were seen running into a parking garage with their guns out.
