Man, 24, fatally stabbed outside Royal Farms in Fells Point
BALTIMORE —
Baltimore police are investigating a fatal stabbing outside a Royal Farms store early Saturday.
Officers were called around 2:10 a.m. to the Royal Farms store in the 2000 block of Fleet Street for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Oscar Acevedo outside the store with stab wounds to his body.
Acevedo was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators believe the victim was involved in an altercation with an unknown suspect. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the victim before leaving the scene.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and asking anyone with information to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
This was definitely brown on brown action, Jeremy. East Baltimore has generally led the City in edged weapons encounters, which did a lot to help me with the knife survey in the 90s.

With the number of knives being carried in Baltimore, Jeremy, many of these robberies are going to escalate to stabbings. In Eastern Baltimore County it has already escalated. Back in September Joe was stabbed in the neck three miles further out Eastern Avenue, which runs parallel with Fleet Street.
