Newport, New Castle County, September 24, 1757.
RUN away on Friday Night, the 23d Instant, from the Subscriber, a Servant Girl, named Catherine Preden, lately come from Ireland; she is a short thick chunky Girl, and had on when she went away, a striped Calicoe Gown, with Shells between the Stripes; also a striped Linen Gown, and a Linsey Petticoat, striped yellow and black, and a brown Linsey [1] Ditto, [2] white Yarn Stockings, and old Shoes, without Buckles.
Whoever takes up said Girl, and brings her to her Master, or secures her in any Gaol, and sends Notice thereof, shall have Twenty Shillings Reward, and reasonable Charges, paid by me JAMES BROOM.
