DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Former neurosurgeon Christopher Duntsch has been sentenced to life in prison for a series of botched spinal surgeries, reports CBS Dallas.
It only took a jury an hour to give Duntsch to the maximum penalty.
Thirty-two patients in all were involved. Two were killed and two were paralyzed.

I'm not so sure this was a good idea. I'm not saying he should be a surgeon but I wonder how many cases he has done. Those guys usually do hundreds and hundreds a year. How many has he done without killing someone. How do you prove he meant to kill them? From the little information given it's hard to determine if he did it on purpose or not. Maybe he did. If you're a neurosurgeon how is it possible to operate on nerves and not have it go wrong sometimes? I would assume they have nerve problems when they come to him.
