Duel of the God Emperors?
World War Update - The White House is considering direct military action to counter North Korea

The NKs wanted to convince everyone they are dangerous. They succeeded.
-Jeremy
Jeremy, it occurs to me that this is a Godsend for the God Emperor. The war mongers of the Deep State will not rest until he embraces the 24-7 war room presidency that Wolf Blitzer named his CNN show after. North Korea could be a place where the war merchants of the intelligence community can get on the same page as a president who only wants to fight against threats to U.S. national security. If I was Trump I'd broker a deal with the CIA goons to stay off my back about Russia if I give the go ahead to hit North Korea. You have a willing ally on the ground, you don't have to declare war, and my brother Bobby is no longer commanding an Abrams on the 38th parallel—so what's not to like?

Special Operations:
South Korea is Turning The Tables On North Korea - Strategy Page
South Korea prepares to take the fight to the enemy in the event of war with the North. North Korea still has the largest number of special operations soldiers in the world; however, South Korea is catching up in numbers and now exceeds the North in capability.
“South Korea has since 2015 been adapting its military organization and strategy to deal with the rapidly changing situation in North Korea. For example South Korea has organized six special operations teams that are trained to attack and destroy key targets inside North Korea. This represents a major change in special operations in Korea because since the 1950s it was North Korea that was constantly sending commandos and spies into South Korea where not all of them were quickly caught or caught at all. At the same time until recently it has proved nearly impossible to get foreign agents into North Korea, which had been turned into the ultimate police state since its creation right after World War II. Since the 1990s the lack of Russian aid (which kept North Korea afloat since the 1950s) caused the North Korean military to gradually (and almost imperceptibly) fall apart. This accelerated because of growing economic problems and corruption, even spreading to the secret police and other security agencies. As a result South Korea considers North Korea vulnerable and is preparing to take advantage of that during the next military emergency. If nothing else it compels the North Koreans to spend a lot more on protecting their nuclear weapons. The latest revision of South Korean strategy specifically mentioned plans to go after nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and key leaders. Much of this will be done with the new strike aircraft (F-15Es) carrying stealthy cruise missiles and smart bombs. South Korea also has obtained more missiles that can hit the North Korean forces concentrated near the border (DMZ or Demilitarized Zone).”
“South Korea has fewer (about 20,000) special operations troops but they are trained and equipped to a higher (Western) standard. Meanwhile South Korea has improved its air defenses along the DMZ. For over half a century North Korea has prepared to fly small single engine transports into South Korea by coming in so low the radar could not pick it up. South Korea can now detect such low flying aircraft and has weapons on the DMZ to quickly shoot down intruders. The pilots of these aircraft are not as skilled as they used to be, especially for low altitude night flying, because fuel shortages have sharply cut training time in the air. “
The single engine aircraft employed by North Korean Special Forces for infiltration is the Antonov An-2 “Colt”.
The Antonov An-2 (Russian nickname: "Annushka" or "Annie"; "kukuruznik" - corn crop duster; USAF/DoD reporting name Type 22,[5] NATO reporting name Colt.[6]) is a Soviet mass-produced single-engine biplane utility/agricultural aircraft designed and manufactured by the Antonov Design Bureau beginning in 1946.[4] Its remarkable durability, high lifting power, and ability to take off and land from poor runways have given it a long service life. The An-2 is still produced and remains in service with military and civilian operators around the world. In certain wind conditions it can hover or even fly backwards.[7

The irony is of course that NK seeks normalization, they were even prepared to give up their nuclear arsenal in exchange for lifted sanctions, but it was the secretary of state John Kerry who refused! And we hear nothing of this, the propaganda is really all out, they under title everything coming from NK with "war crazy war", it's comical.

BTW Just recently a band here from Melania land was the first foreign to play in NK, see:

And fun fact, how the US was sabotaging peace efforts, see what defense secretary Cheney did back in 1993:

"The annual Team Spirit exercise, held every spring, involved transporting thousands of U.S. troops to Korea, to conduct training exercises designed to repel a simulated North Korean attack upon the South. The North hated this exercise—it was an annual reminder to them of their humiliation in 1950, when President Harry S. Truman had shocked them by sending U.S. troops to repel their original invasion. In response to Team Spirit, North Korea always put itself on an extremely high military alert level, and sent out waves of propaganda against the “American warmongers and their South Korean lackeys.”

After a good deal of pushing and pulling, General Robert RisCassi and I got the Pentagon and the Korean Ministry of Defense to agree to cancel the 1992 Team Spirit exercise. They jointly announced this late in 1991. Shortly thereafter, the two Koreas signed a pair of significant agreements. The “Basic Agreement,” signed on December 13, 1991, pledged both countries to work toward “reconciliation, nonaggression, exchanges and cooperation.”

On December 18, President Roh announced that there were no nuclear weapons in South Korea. On December 31, North and South Korea signed the “Joint Declaration” calling for a denuclearized peninsula and pledging to allow inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The signing of these agreements ushered in a period of good feelings between North and South Korea. A series of eight prime ministerial meetings was held, and the prospects for a major reconciliation were higher than ever before.

Unfortunately, this happy period did not last long. At the annual security consultation meeting held at the Pentagon in the autumn of 1992, the Team Spirit exercise was reinstated for March 1993. Both military establishments had cited the invaluable training that this exercise provided, and Defense Secretary Dick Cheney reinstated the exercise without consulting either the State Department or me."

Saying things about NK you never hear, well worth watching.

South Korea has always been pretty aggressive.

For instance:

What's that joke, it's like déjà vu all over again? except not funny:

Mar. 8, 2017 BEIJING (AP) — China's foreign minister said Wednesday that North Korea could suspend its nuclear and missile activities in exchange for a halt in joint U.S.-South Korea military drills, in an unusually public proposal that analysts said showed Beijing's growing alarm over the tensions.

Notice also how in most reports about NK those US "drills" are conveniently omitted.

I am willing to believe that North Korea had been virtually manufactured as an adversary by the U.S. intelligence agencies.

Olympus Has Fallen, the rediculous movie about North Korean commandos taking over the White House is a good example of how deluded Americas can be about foreign threats from nations that have less assets than some of our 50 states.
