Premise
On a cool autumn day Sam Waterford, along with most of the people on earth, observe a meteor blazing across the noon sky. The mysterious danger, unpredicted and unexplained by the authorities, passes within the hour. A week later, Sam and his business partner notice a change in human behavior, an alteration in fundamental human needs that only they seem to be aware of. Sam Waterford is a prostitute.
