Police release sketch in sex assault investigation

Baltimore police released a sketch Thursday in connection with a sex assault investigation.
Police said a woman was walking in the 3400 block of Esther Place in east Baltimore around 7:30 a.m. on March 23 when a man armed with a knife forced her into an alley.
Police said the man threatened and sexually assaulted the woman, then fled. The woman was treated at a hospital for injuries.
Investigators described the attacker as a black man who is about 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, weighs about 185 pounds and had a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants with silver zippers on the pockets and he might have a heart-shaped tattoo under his left eye.
