Chukwuemeka Ekwonna, huh? That’s what happens when you recruit these Amish guys into the police force. They just don’t know how to act among the English. Maybe soliciting whores over the Internet and then robbing them is what they do back in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, but that kind of behavior doesn’t fly in Maryland.
“A Metropolitan Police Department officer was arrested on charges he engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl before robbing her earlier this year in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County police said.”
“Chukwuemeka Ekwonna, 27, of Glenn Dale, was arrested Thursday at his home in the 7500 block of Lake Glen Drive in Prince George's County. Ekwonna is charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, two counts of third-degree sex offense, reckless endangerment, prostitution and related weapons charges, police said.”
“A judge denied bond Friday afternoon calling the charges "incredibly disturbing." Ekwonna appeared in court Friday via video chat.”
“Police said the charges stem from an incident on Jan. 9 when Ekwonna met a 15-year-old girl on the social media app Tagged. The girl agreed to meet him to engage in sexual activity in exchange for money, police said.”
“Once the sexual encounter was over inside his vehicle, Ekwonna produced a gun and demanded his money back, police said. The girl complied and Ekwonna left the vehicle.”
