That used to be against the law in Texas. In fact it’s still illegal for everyone to carry a Bowie Knife or dagger in public in Texas, even after the partial reform of the state knife laws. Currently legislation has been introduced in the Texas legislature to repeal all bans on knives . Will this crime derail this effort, or not? Laws exert no restraint on people with evil intent, so may as well level the playing field and arm everyone.
