But at least the Toronto Police Department isn’t calling this cold-blooded murder a ‘botched robbery’ or ‘mutual affray’, eh?

“A video of two hooded men brazenly gunning down a man in a Toronto parking lot has been released in hopes of identifying the killers. Leonard Pinnock, 33, of Hamilton, Ont. was shot Friday, April 21 at 9:30 p.m. in a parking lot north of downtown.”

“…Homicide Det. Sgt. Joyce Schertzer said why he was targeted is not known. “There’s nothing to suggest in Mr. Pinnock’s background a reason for any motive,” she said Thursday, adding the murder was “seemingly unprovoked.”

Lesson Learned: take your keys out and lock your car doors when filling up, even in a ‘safe’ downtown gas station in the middle of the day. This kind of sneak thievery is pulled on women a lot since even if the thieves can’t make off with the car they can get the women’s purse left unattended inside the unlocked car. In the purse is the woman’s money, cell phone, credit cards, ATM card, house keys and other valuables, as well as personal information for facilitating identity theft fraud. So ching-ching! That’s what happened in this case. The black Cadillac the attempted carjackers were riding in was stolen too, so of course taking the license number would tell you nothing about the identity of the thieves. Carjackers in Milwaukee typically use stolen cars to acquire other cars. Watch out for cars loaded with oppressed youth cruising around. The MPD has a no pursuit policy for stolen cars and other ‘non-violent' crimes so the dindu carjackers have become pretty bold inside the city.
