Synopsis
Archie Jones lives alone in his late parents’ grand house, from where he sallies forth to wage a pitiless war on litter, trash and filth at Ed’s Food Market, and along Trash Free Routes #1 thru #5. One early summer eve the benevolent Mister Flynn, manager of Ed’s, retires Archie 27 years early, with full pension and health benefits, so that he may take his war on litter to the streets of The City. It is now up to Archie Jones, alone and unescorted by law enforcement or the military, to wage his one-janitor war.
Archie has the finest close-cleaning equipment, Father’s yellow City Works slicker, the helmet Mother used to make him wear before he boarded the short cheese bus, unparalleled janitorial skill, and an unshakable resolve. However, The City is big, and he will require tactical and strategic mobility. This is difficult for a Special Person, barred from a driver’s license, to achieve. Never fear though, Archie Jones is not called Janitor X for nothing. He will find a way.
