This is pretty much the future Wells forecast in The Time Machine: childless vegan Eloi elites, doing their best to pretend that the Morlocks do not exist/are just a half step away from becoming Eloi themselves (with a bit of “education”!)
Notice how the cop just bitches out when attacked by Morlocks. This is the same thing that we saw with the Baltimore riots:
