This is great. I see people get better all the time and I'm part of it. I'm not as big apart as the guy I work for—who is just amazing—but I get to do my part to help my fellow man.
I worked in a larger orthopedic setting where two of us served 20 docs—that was just mind numbing, burnout territory after a while, doing over a hundred a day.
I did trauma for years—lots of death and destruction.
It just gets to you after a while.
That is also helping your fellow man—what life is about.
You can only see that much pain, death and destruction before it begins to crush you, before you have to start seeing more people get better.
Here, with Him, I see people get better all the time—see healing all day long. The second time I see someone they are almost always better off.
Every day is a better day for someone.
That's what it's all about.
