I have had a number of warm meals at the Mirror Lake Diner in Kamas, Utah, 30 minutes from the wilderness where my guide learned to hunt and fish as a boy. The walls of the diner are graced with the most beautiful photography I have seen, equal to the landscape I have so recently seen.
His trademark shot is of three wild horses making their way into a blizzard, horses not unlike the five I saw on the West Desert yesterday.
