It took some time, but it looks like nature is finally striking back against the cancer of Homo saps that has spread over her surface, like a melanoma:
First, the Black Plague in Madagascar, and now an outbreak of Marburg virus in eastern Uganda. This virus is similar to Ebola, is spread readily by contact with body fluids, and is fatal in 9 out of 10 cases. Who can’t love it?
Humanity under globalism has just become a tasty mass of meat, from the perspective of microbes, so it is just a matter of time before they devour us. And, that I think will be a good thing, the way other things are going. I am rooting for the viruses and other bugs. Further, the bugs are totally anti-discriminatory, which makes humanity’s elimination, completely politically correct:
Turd America
Having been surrounded by two legged plankton all my life I am very interested in things like viruses and retroviruses that take them out. Yes, I am aware that plankton is not a virus and further that plankton are probably more intelligent than many people.
Marburg virus is nothing new. If you are a fan of epidemic diseases, check out the 90s book "Hot Zone". There is a great chapter on Marburg in it. In fact, some joker from Africa bled out on the plane to Germany. It dissolves your veins. You start bleeding from the eyes even. It also dissolves your intestines. They just plop out of you. If it happened in the US today they'd throw you off the plane for requesting to be reseated as your seatmate rotted before your very eyes. The examining doctor was immediately stricken. They were terrified it would get out. Awesome post, thanks.
