James, given that remakes of classic movies are much in vogue these days, it occurs to me we need a 21st Century remake of “A Clockwork Orange”. Naturally the location of the storyline will have to be changed, to some place like say ‘Baltimore’, the musical score will have to be made more contemporary (rap and hip-hop, not classical of course. Too white!) and the race, ethnicity and in some cases even the gender, of the protagonists will have to be changed to reflect the current vibrant diversity of our society. Still too many white male faces in Hollywood, eh? Not only will they need someone to write the screenplay, they will need a dialogue coach on set as well. Sounds right up your alley James.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A young woman was attacked and carjacked in Charles Village, just days after moving to Baltimore.

The crime, committed along a city block of elegant row homes, has changed the way May Chung looks at life.

"I have to live in fear now," she told FOX45's Joy Lepola. "I can't walk around at night. Last night was my ceremony for being a Ph.D. candidate. I got the certificate and walked across the stage, and after that moment, I felt unsafe to go home, and I felt like I really couldn't celebrate my accomplishments."

It's all because of what happened a few days ago.

It was just after midnight Monday. Chung was driving around looking for a parking space. She finally found one along Guilford Avenue.

She says it wasn't long after getting out of the car that she knew she was in trouble.

"I think the scariest moment was when they jumped out of the car, and I knew they were gonna come for me," she said.

Chung tried to outrun the teens, but they eventually caught up and tackled her to the ground.

"I screamed and I screamed and I screamed," she said. "They said, 'Cover her mouth,' so the guy was trying to cover my mouth."

After failing to get Chung's purse, the teens grabbed the keys from her hand and drove off in her car.

James, it seems to me that the BPD should accommodate Harm City denizens who wish to off themselves rather than try to talk them out of it. There are obviously a lot of people in our society who want to die, who want to shuffle off this mortal coil, to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end it. To terminate their miserable and pointless existence. However, for whatever reason, they cannot bring themselves to die by their own hand. ‘Suicide by cop’ could actually be a public service then. Clearly telling such people that ‘things will get better’ is a blatant lie, something nobody believes anymore. Therefore we should not suffer people to continue to live in this stupid, evil, racist, sexist, homophobic, greedy, unequal, imperialist and oppressive country if they don’t want to do so.
