The Queen granted permission for marriage, and was delighted, so I am delighted too. I am sure that you are as well.
The most exciting part about this is this:

Although this is all somewhat progressive, I was hoping that the next Royal wedding could be a same sex one, to keep with the zeitgeist.
Nevertheless, I am still excited enough to cry buckets of tears over this, and like you, will be keeping my fingers, toes and everything else, crossed for the future. We live in truly diverse, vibrant, joyful, and colorful times. It is great to be alive as Western civilisation sores to dizzy heights.
