This is a big book, at 8.5 by 11 inches and 420 pages, which Lynn spent a month editing, containing about 30 photos by Urbanographer, Mescaline Franklin. The title and subtitle in the amazon listing will have question marks were apostrophe's belong. This is a glitch in their POD system. These will not show up on the book cover. I corrected them when they cropped up on the cover design, but only the help staff from southeast Asia can actually correct these template flaws and that takes a day or two.
Big Ron’s Baltimore is a place where low pleasure and high pain, simmering hate and race, drug addiction and police terrorism stew side-by-side and cheek-by-jowl, the resulting culture of decline making of a once great city a whirlpool of stern lies and their progeny of despair. For three months, carpenter, boxer and street-fighter, Ron M. spent over 50 hours with the author, discussing his upbringing and manhood in the penitentiary-style public school system, the life lessons of old time sporting men and the seething racism, rampant criminality and corrupt police state politics which inform every choleric breath of our dying city. Let the World Fend for Itself is Big Ron’s message to his fellow postmodern men as well as the story of our ruined city.
