“Fucking Polish Power.”
“Take care.”

Ron, this is a excellent example of using the blind jab for entry and Mario also uses it to mask his lead foot lift, which isn’t a big signal for punching in this MMA context.
Note early on how Gracie cycles his lead hand low after every feinted jab, which is generally a sign that your man will fall for the blind jab to hand trap and overhand right. Mario is basically fighting like Tim Witherspoon used to.
Thanks, this made my day.
What would Mario do if Gracie didn’t keep a low lead but kept his lead up?
Throw a hook from too far out so that your left passes his left in front.
Then execute a lateral hammer fist as a rake to clear the lead guard with the very same motion and body torque that you through the rear hand. This is a modification of what John L. Sullivan did to clear a taller man’s guard.

Now let's reverse the situation. In this case what should the tall man do against this loaded rear hand blitz?

Also does the lead hand trap work for the tall man or does that just set him up to get knocked out?

This is pretty simple but needs an article, probably wit Hearns as an example.

Will write it this week.
