Stabbed with a Pipe

Poorly Improvised Weapons

Say you ever heard of somebody gettin' stabbed with a pipe?

Yes, in training I have been knocked out with stick stabs to the head and have even KO'd people stabbing them in the head with rolled up paper.
Big Ron stabbed a hoodrat in the face with copper conduit filled with concrete and then clubbed that hoodrat and another with the same weapon. See Let the World Fend for Itself. Stabbing with a pipe is most often done as a type of indexing to set up the finishing smash.
I have also fought with 1/2 inch aluminum pipes of 16 inches, an 8-inch stainless steel bar, and a 1 and 1/4-inch 14-inch long steep pipe. I lost a pipe versus chain bout largely because I did not stab before smashing.
I once picked up an 8 inch piece of jagged copper conduit from the gutter to use as a shank, to stab the face. Then, that night, when four negroes attacked me and I drew and hid it with my back to a van, the leader sent the two small ones into a house, presumably for weapons, and I ran my fat ass off!
For a real short pipe, stab the wind [diaphragm] or gut, check his shoulder with the left hand as his head drops forward to make sure he does not waist tackle you, then stab inward at his ear as you pivot out to the side. Now blitz his buddy or you're catching a charge. You have to mark them both up.
With an arm-length or shorter pipe, stab the chest with pronation [turning the hand over] to stop his forward progress. Then step to the side as you break his fucking leg. If you hit the head you have a body on your hands. Then blitz his buddy...
With the short pipe or flashlight, camera prop, etc., you are using it like a dull dagger to pitch him forward at the guts and then KO him to the head.
With the forearm to arm length weapon you are stabbing the chest to stop his forward progress right were your weapon's sweet spot is and then cracking his ass down.
If its the long pipe, like a door bar, or the light pole I saw laying on the sidewalk last night as I walked by with my axe—yes, a fucking ax in Baltimore County—use it like a bayoneted rifle, or pugil stick to stab the gut, drop the head and cave in the head or break the leg. In such a situation you can either kill or cripple, the weapon is that nasty. If you go for the head it's gotta be do or die against a mob or armed individual.
Note that the short hand weapon and long pole weapon are used more alike and that the mid-length sword-type pipe is used in a unique way as range is more delicate with arm-length weapons than pole and hand weapons, which is why it is the best weapon-length for training time and measure.
Note that at night a pipe can be used to stab the body and get an individual running to the emergency room thinking he has been gutted.
I am interested in any and all stories of pipe combat!
Thank you, Sir.

Oh no the goofy bastard didn't use it to extend anythin' he just got right in his face and tried to stab and twist like he had a screwdriver or somethin'. It bit but not deep enough to save him from choosin' to toddle himself right into grapplin' range.

An A for effort then!

For what it's worth it kinda worked. You don't usually think about how sharp the rim of a piece of pipe can be when it's cut clean. I guess it's been almost 20 yrs but far as I know he's still got the scars. Like somebody tried to take a little cookie cutter to him. Course work or not it didn't save said African from gettin' his face knocked in with repeated blows from that big ol' Apache forehead.

With an extension weapon the ability to fix a foe's position by stabbing him pays additional benefits and it really hurts to get stabbed with a dull chunk of steel, at least it did for me.

Well. I'd always assumed I was unique havin' witnessed this Apache kid I used to run around with growin' up get double tapped in the belly with a 2ft steel pipe by this big ol' African like he was tryin' to take corin' samples. Shoulda known better.

I don't think I have related this tale to you but once a power trio I was in, called Bomb (Blood on my Bible) were walking home from our rehearsal space when a very high hoodrat leaped out a doorway brandishing (like a bonobo chimp brandishes sugar cane towards the mostly lesbian females to entice them to entertain said male) a long thin knife and demanded our money.

Seemingly out of nowhere I realized he was holding the knife blade point up an inch or so under the soft tissue between jaw bones. I open palmed that mofo so hard it seemed to have stuck his tongue to the roof of his mouth. The screaming and the blood were cinematic in nature and it took him some effort to remove the knife.

I then promptly forgot about it. A decade later my former band mate's told me the story and laughed about how we laughed all the way home at the time. I think my inspiration must have been the Michael Echanis books and methods I had been studying.
